PFDs - Buoyancy Aids / Life Jackets / Immersion Suits - Manufacturer & Supplier
Personal flotation device (abbreviated as PFD) is the general name for providing additional buoyancy for the individual. The European standard divides the personal floating equipment into two categories, the Life Jacket with provide self-righting capability, the Buoyancy Aid without provide self-righting capability. In strict sense, only the buoyancy equipment that meets the standard of buoyancy and provide self-righting function can be called the life jacket.
Our buoyancy aid / life jacket is usually made of SBR neoprene laminated polyester fabric / tearing nylon fabric as external fabric, closed-cell foamed polymeric materials (PVC or EPE) as an internal buoyancy filler to provide the wearer with the necessary buoyancy, with different sizes are adapted to different weight. We only production of buoyancy aid / life jacket with inherent buoyancy (foam core) is mainly used for recreational aquatic activities and professional rescue activities. For a long time, we have been providing high quality OEM services to many famous brands. Now we also accept small orders and provide custom services.
Our immersion suit / survival suit is made of neoprene rubber, are intended to reduce the occurrence of shock to the wearer upon entering cold water and retard the onset of hypothermia (reduce the rate of body heat loss during periods of immersion in water), and to provide flotation for the wearer while in the water.
The use of life jacket for commercial ships is bound by the SOLAS "International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea" and "International life saving equipment rules" need to use certified products in accordance with the requirements. There is no unified standard for the use of PFDs for recreational water sports, the famous UL certification (US Coast Guard standard) and CE (EU EN ISO 12402 standard). And not all the occasion must use a life jacket, most of the recreational water sports use buoyancy aid, the buoyancy aid suitable for recreational water sports is the most commonly used grade of the UL - USCG Type III and CE - EN ISO 12402-5(50N).
